Meet our staff
Crystal and Joshua Kast
Josh and I purchased Children Are Special Early Learning Center in 2004 from Josh’s parents Kathy and Terry Kast. We were blessed with the opportunity to purchase the business with the help of my parents Mike and Theresa Watson. We have grown so much in the past 10 years and love what we do. We get to impact children daily and the greatest reward is watching them grow. We have four children of our own and have watched each of them grow through all of the classes here at the center. Currently our life consists of running our children to and from sporting events, choir practice, and church. We love to worship and to serve in the house of God. Our faith in Jesus is what has helped us to grow over the past 5 years and we love teaching the children at our center about Gods love for each and everyone of them.
My name is Lupe Agbisit. I have worked with preschool age children for over 20 years. I have experience working with children who have challenging behaviors, different learning abilities and those who need to be challenged due to their advancement in their thinking abilities. I graduated with a degree in Children & Family Studies. I look forward to any trainings that will help improve my skills. My goal is to provide quality early education for every child that enters my classroom, but most of all to make learning FUN! Thank you for allowing me to be your child’s teachers this year.
My name is Cristina Szocol and I am from Romania, Europe. I have lived here in the U.S. with my husband and son for the last four years. I worked as a program coordinator at an orphanage for seven years while in Romania. I also worked as a Kindergarten teacher for ten years while living there. I enjoy being around children. I like playing with them and teaching them new things. I try to bring something new into our daily schedule for them to enjoy and experience something different everyday. Everyday I strive to improve my role as a teacher. Thank you for trusting me and sharing your children with me daily.
My name is Theresa Watson and I am a wife, mother, and grandmother to 4 awesome grandkids. I worked for the Moses Lake Postal Service for 33 years and retired in 2010. I am currently the Lead teacher in the Toddler Classroom where I care for children 12 months - 30 months of age. We enjoy playing make believe, dress up, kitchen, blocks, doing art activities and explore the outdoors daily. I love the children in my class and do my best to make them feel loved and safe.
My name is Linda Fry and I have been in the childcare business off and on since the mid 80’s when I started taking care of children in my home. I have been at Children Are Special since May 2013. I currently work as the Lead Teacher for the infant room but have also spent a good amount of time with the one and two year olds. I really, really enjoy being with kids, especially the wee ones! Their smiles and daily accomplishments is such a joy to witness. My husband John and I have for adult children ages 33, 30 and twin girls who are 25. During my down time I enjoy camping with the family and backyard bird watching.
